El perfil de votante de Daniel Noboa y Luisa González en las elecciones presidenciales de 2023 en Ecuador

En octubre de 2023 el Ecuador eligió a su sexaségisimo cuarto presidente y el primero bajo elecciones anticipadas. El presente artículo, tiene como objetivo identificar ¿Cómo fue en la segunda vuelta electoral el votante de Daniel Noboa y Luisa González en 2023? El objetivo de plantear esta pregunta es conocer como el perfil del votante se ha tornado cada vez más determinado, pero también si este se compone o tiene relación significativa con algún tipo de clivaje inmerso en la sociedad ecuatoriana. Para ello, como metodología se realizó una revisión de literatura de clivajes y la recolección de datos cuantitativos empíricos de relación entre variables independientes (edad, educación, etnia e ingresos) y una variable dependiente (voto). Se identifico al tipo de votante de cada uno de los candidatos, diferenciados en relación las variables de estudios para cada uno. Los resultados considerando su valor de p-value (Pr) demuestran ser estadísticamente significativos, sin embargo, tomando en cuenta los datos de Cramer’s V se identifica que las asociaciones entre variables a excepción de edad-voto, poseen una correlación modesta. Lo que podría indicar la necesidad de aplicación de otros métodos cuantitativos o el profundizar en factores y/o clivajes no considerados determinantes.
